NAVCC Trophies.
The following Trophies will be awarded only to those who wish to be judged. Trophies are to be retained by the recipient for one year and returned on or before the following year NAVCC National Rally. No trophy is to leave the country and recipients are requested to have the trophy engraved were applicable.
The date in brackets below indicates the year the trophy was first awarded.
Peterborough Vintage Cycle Club Shield (1958)
Awarded for the most meritorious ride of the day.
The BSA Trophy (1958)
Awarded for the best maintained cycle of pre-1914 manufacture that completed the course.
The Twycross Trophy (1969)
Awarded to the rider who has completed the course and in the opinion of the judges restored their cycle to its original condition, with the rider in appropriate costume.
The Cooper Trophy (1972)
Awarded for a Family consisting of parent or parent(s) or guardian(s) with children under 16 years of age on the day of the Rally.
The Rea ‘Ordinary’ Trophy (1973)
Awarded to an Ordinary rider who is the owner-rider and in the opinion of the judges is in good and original condition.
The Rouse Juvenile Trophy (1990)
Awarded to a rider under 16 years of age who has performed the most meritorious ride in an appropriate costume.
The Bowyer Juvenile Trophy (1992)
Awarded to the runner up of the Rouse Trophy to a rider under 16 years of age who has performed the most meritorious ride in an appropriate costume.
The Denton Trophy (1995)
Awarded to a Gentleman rider of a pneumatic tyred machine who completes the course in an appropriate costume.
The Dunlop Trophy (1996)
Awarded to a Lady rider of a pneumatic tyred machine who completes the course in an appropriate costume.
The Tom Young Boneshaker Shield (2000)
Awarded to the rider of a Boneshaker Velocipede who has completed the course in an appropriate costume.
