IT WAS TIME! OUR NEW WEBSITE AND UPDATED BRANDING!
You may, or may not have noticed that we have a brand new website and an updated logo thanks to the wonderful team at Force Nine ; who were recommended by Mike Gray from the SVBTC.
The New Website
Our previous website had been reworked by several individuals over the years and we felt it was time it needed an overhaul. The new website is sleeker, faster and mobile responsive, which is better for all to enjoy. New content will be added soon, watch this space.
One of the big changes is the removal of the “members area”, due to its lack of use. We were also inundated with messages about bicycles from the general public asking for information to identify them, or sell them (sadly that’s not the intention of the website).
We would like to give a special thank you and honourable mention to Ben Steven who has done a fantastic job looking after the original NAVCC website these past few years and was a great help in transitioning all this important historical content over to the new website. Plus his assistance with the IT/email side of things has been invaluable.
The New Logo / Branding
With the NAVCC being the age it is, the original logo has undergone several changes during this time and we didn’t seem to have a scalable vector (.EPS) version of the original. The guys at Force Nine worked their magic again and reconstructed the logo as close as possible from a low resolution JPG. They also made a few subtle tweaks to help the logo work across different media and we think it looks great!
